It’s Saturday June 1 and I’ve finally caught up with THE LUST KILLERS backstage at SLIM’s in San Francisco. I was denied my preshow interview among their vanilla candles and Sade. Here is a brief look at the aftermath.

What is a Lust Killer?
We started this as an Ugly Contest.

It helps us find the notes.
And why all the gum??
We don’t know but it slows down the drinking.
Where does the inspiration for Lust Killers songs come from?
The comedic genius that is Baio & Aimes…. and a 40 of cologne.
The LUST KILLERS rock isn’t what we’d expect from this line-up…
To be a hammer, It’s gotta swing.
How do you describe the LUST KILLERS music?
We started as Jazz but couldn’t remember the choruses.

Thoughts on the current state of rock?
Rock n Roll.................it use to be sexy.
What do you look for in a girl?
All kinds of fine.
Tell us a secret.
(if you can’t hear me sometimes it’s because I’m speaking in parenthesis)
If you could be anyone in the world who would it be?
I would be Michelle Pfieffer and take me out to lunch.
Love or Lust?
Love means never having to say you’re sorry.
Any apologies?
Sorry, I didn’t mean to rock ya??
Favorite Part of the Day?
Happy Hour at the ER.

Last thoughts?
It’s been swell but now the swelling’s gone down.
